Since the end of December, we have received a couple snow storms. It was a delight especially during the holidays. My niece, her husband and 2 boys came up from Florida. The boys have never played in snow before. When they awoke Christmas morning to snow on the ground it was a joy. They had a blast. Then when they came for a visit here, they were falling in the snow having fun. Now they are back home enjoying their warm weather.
The other morning I had the pleasure of seeing the Red Fox. It walked up from the frozen pond. It was barking all the way. It saw me with the girls and kept on it's journey. I could not get a photo but I was able to video it. You can view the video here: The Red Fox
Today my husband and I took a walk down to our pond. There are many tracks. We did get some photos of the tracks.
Over near our wood pile, he spotted where some deer entered the yard. He figured they jumped the fence and went on their way. There were some tracks.
Of course there are lots of kitty tracks all over. We don't get to see Tough Guy when it's cold and snowing. But when he 's here, he always goes and checks on the girls.
And then there are my tracks. They go from the house to the girls. The path is quite worn and flattened.
I go see them as much as possible during the day. They see me and they are happy.
We love to look for tracks. The snow makes it so much easier in the winter than in the summer. Thanks for the beautiful pictures.
